Today is Veteran’s Day, a day filled with memories and gratitude. My Grandad served in WWI, and my Dad served in WWII. Although they have passed on, their bravery in serving their country has left a legacy to all of us. May we remember their sacrifices in the big wars, and continue to work to make America the land of the free.
Currently, my son-in-law is in the Army National Guard; he is a veteran of the war in Iraq. We are thankful that came home safely to his young family after his tour of duty, and are mindful of the sacrifices they all have made. May we all honor our veterans today, and say a prayer for those who are serving, those who have served, and their families. God has richly blessed our nation, and those who serve deserve our thanks.
